第一次聽到的時候覺得欸？居然是一首放在 1989 裡也不違合的歌！

第二次聽又覺得怎麼有種 Lorde Green Light 那種自由奔放的快感！

這首 Getaway Car 我想是整張專輯中數一數二適合拿來轟炸電台的排行單曲！

其中歌詞提及的三個人，應該是指 Tom Hiddleston、Taylor Swift 和 Calvin Harris 間的三角關係，

I wanted to leave him. I needed a reason 更被解讀成她早已想離開 Calvin 的念頭，

而 Tom 就像 Getaway Car 一樣領著她奔向自由。

但隨後劇情急轉直下（與 Tom 三個月的短命戀愛）

這首歌以 Bonnie and Clyde 這對鴛鴦大盜為背景，最後在一場追逐戰中撞車身亡

但 Taylor 選擇急踩剎車、改寫結局，離開了 Tom，

並再次強調「分手是我的選擇」，在 I Did Something Bad 後又強調了一次
